swinging

This is moving from Point A to Point B - or moving from one spot, travelling around the room and coming back to the same spot.

refers to a dancer’s ability to maintain stability and control over their body

you can be stretched up high, mid-level, or very low to the ground. You can even be down on the floor

similar to jumping, but you lake off from one foot and land on the other.

refer to the use of hands, arms, or other body parts to express meaning, communicate, or emphasize a theme in dance.
