How do you chill glassware?
Fill with ice and water or soda water before (and during) drink preparation.
Soda water is ideal as it melts the ice faster.
Or, can refrigerate them for at least an hour.
What do you do with the ice scoop when done scooping ice from the machine?
Take it out. Leaving it in is a health code violation.
Where do you handle glassware?
By the base (or stem).
Handling by the rim can put off customers.
How do you scoop ice for a drink?
With a scoop.
Using the glass to scoop ice risks breakage and contamination of the drink & ice. All pieces of glass need to be accounted for, which is a serious pain if the glass breaks in the ice.
