A

Uses a metaphor to show that the witches will tell the truth at first for people to gain their trust but then they will eventually misguide people.
Themes- supernatural as Banquo believes they are terrible
Context- Jacobean’s distrusted witches

Banquo realises something is strange and off which is shown by the hyperbole used by Shakespeare’ candled are all out”
Themes- supernatural as Macbeth is about to turn the natural order upside down
