What was the aim of the study?
To see if imitated behaviour would be displayed in new surroundings
How long were children in the first room for?

Non-aggressively played with a toy
What did the aggressive model do in room one?
- begins to assemble tinker toy
- after 1min model begins aggression towards bobo doll
- 3 reps of each aggressive action
What did the models do 3 repetitions of in the aggressive actions?
- sitting on doll & hitting nose
- hitting with wooden mallet
- throwing & kicking doll
- verbal aggression
How long were the children in the second room for?
2 minutes
What happened after the experimenter tells the child they can play with the toys?
Te experimenter told the child that the toys were the best toys and reserved for other people, resulting in the child being annoyed
How long was the child in the third room for?
20 minutes

Low, as they were looking for very specific examples of behaviour. Also high as they had inter-rater reliability

Why did the study have low ecological validity?
It’s not how a child would usually witness aggression and had no context behind it
