Aim
That if children are passive witnesses to an aggressive display by an adult, when given the opportunity they will imitate the behaviour.

Background
Social learning theory. The idea that we learn through observing and imitating the behaviour of those around us and how people react to it.
Hypotheses
Children exposed to aggressive models will reproduce aggressive acts resembling the display.
Children exposed to non-aggressive models will reproduce less aggressive acts.
Children will imitate the aggressive acts of a same-sex model to a greater degree than of an opposite sex model.
