Overall conclusion
Certain information can potentially last a lifetime with the correct cues
What was a strength of bahricks research in duration of LTM?
High mundae realism
As they were asked to recall real life memories of classmates
This it’s easier to generalise the finding of duration of LTM to real life situations
Increasing external validity
What was the weakness of bahckrick research of duration of LTM
Low control over extraneous variables
As research did I not take place in an controlled environment
Thus cause and effect cannot be clearly established between IV and DV
Reducing internal validity
