What does the Gear Handle “Off” position do?
Depressurizes the gear hydraulics
What happens when alternate brakes are used?
Autobrakes are inop
When do Autobrakes activate?
- Main truck untilt
- Wheel spin up
- Thrust levers idle
What does BRAKE SOURCE light indicate?
Loss of Normal and Alternate braking
When are Alternate Brakes automatically selected?
Loss of R Hydraulic Sys Pressure
When are Autobrakes deactivated?
- Fault in system
- Speed brakes moved toward DOWN position
- Thrust lever advanced
- Off or disarm selected
- Pedal braking
What does DOORS light indicate?
Any gear door is not closed
What does GEAR indicate?
Disagreement between handle and gear
When will the autobrakes disarm?
- Fault
- Manual braking
- advancing either thrust level after landing
- Selecting DISARM or OFF on the autobrake selector
- Moving the SPEEDBRAKE LEVER out of the UP detent after speedbrakes have been extended on the ground

Reserve Brakes Switch
“on”
- Allows use of reserve hydraulic fluid.
- Activates right hydraulic electic pump
- Isolates right hydraulic pump power to the normal brake system

- Arms selected LE slat or TE Flap alternate drive unit
- Shuts off hydraulic power to both the flap and slat drive systems
