How to fix problems with blood flow to the heart

A

CHD is when contrary arteries that supply oxygenated blood to the heart becomes narrow.
Stents: This is a metal mesh placed in the artery, a tiny ballon is inflated and opens up the stent the balloon is deflated and removed and the stent stays there to open up the artery.
Statins: is medication used by the patient if they are at risk of cardiovascular disease.

  • blood enters the top chamber of your heart right atrium from the vena cava this is oxygenated blood.
  • the blood coming into the left atrium from the pulmonary vein is oxygenated.
  • The atria contract together and five blood down into the ventricals and the valves close to stop blood flowing backwards out of the heart
  • the right ventical forces deoxygenated blood to the lungs in the pulmonary artery.
  • the left ventricle pumps oxygenated blood around the body in the artery aorta.
