B10 Flashcards
Synapses
The pace between two nerves cells this is a minute gap which is normally traveled through diffusion
How do impulse travle the gap (synapses)
They normally travel the gap by creating s reaction which realise a chemical which defuse in to the other side and carry on the reaction
The nervous system oder
Stimulus—receptor cells—sensory neurone—[central nervous system]—motor neurone—effecters—response
How do we hear?
We detect vibrations in the ear
How do we see?
Are eyes contain light recuptus
How do we feel?
On are skin we feel the pressure and the tempruter thought resections
Motor neurones
The function of motor neurons is to transmit signals from the brain and spinal cord to muscle cells.
Sensory neurone
Sensory neurons are the nerve cells that are activated by sensory input from the environment
Reflexs
These are reactions that are instent and rapid wich dont invole your brain thinking for it tohappen
