Types of microbes that cause disease; examples of such diseases are measles and the common cold.
What is a toxin?
Poison produced by microbes.
What are symptoms?
Effects of a disease on the body; such as high temperature and a runny nose.
What is a painkiller?
Drug that reduces pain.
What is a antibiotic?
Chemicals produced by microbes; used to destroy bacteria in the body.
What is antibiotic resistance?
Bacteria being resistant to antibiotics.
