Settings in which HSC services are provided vary enormously. Setting can range from domiciliary care services provided in service users one home to day care centres, residential care homes to hospital departments providing highly technical sophisticated special treatments

Provide inpatient and outpatient services.
Outpatient services consists of regular clinics, day surgery as well as other specialist daytime care.
Inpatient services includes treatment’s for individuals whose condition that needs 24 hr specialist support.
Hospital department for:
Radiology- diagnosis and treatment using X-rays
The range of setting that provide health and care services - Residential care
This is a long-term care for adults needing 24 hr care which cannot be provided properly or appropriately in their own home.
Residential care units are usually specialist units providing care for specific client groups such as people with mental health problems.
