Excess a globin from mutation in B globin
Hb Precipitates = extravascular/intra haemolysis

Hb Precipitates in RBC precursors - ineffective erythropoiesis

Anaemia forms

Expansion of BM –>bone problems
Iron Absorption increases - ironoverload
