A measurement of a relationship between the price of a stock and movement of the whole market. If Stock XYZ has beta of 1.5, that means that for every one point move in the market, stock XYZ moves 1.5 points, and vice versa.

A

A price movement through and identified level of support, which is usually followed by heavy volume and sharp decline.Technical traders will short so the underlying asset when the price of security breaks below a support level because it is clear indication that the bears are in control and that additional selling pressure is likely to follow. Technical tools such as moving averages, trade lines and chart patterns are the most common methods for technical traders to identify strong areas of support.
