A
  • Fracture to surgical neck of humerus
  • Shoulder dislocation
  • Saturday night palsy (pressure on posterior cord of brachial plexus)

Presentation

A
  • Motor loss of shoulder abduction (deltoid muscle)
  • Sensory deficit to badge area
  • In long standing cases- atrophied deltoid muscle will be flattened
