Avionics - Electronic Checklist (ECL) Flashcards
How do you verify the correct database part number of the ECL is loaded?
The database part number (P/N) is shown at the bottom of the SUMMARY page, unless there are active checklist limitation items on the SUMMARY page
Note: If there are active limitations, the word LIMITATIONS is shown in the footer of all ECL
pages and replaces the database P/N on the SUMMARY page
How many ECLs can be displayed simultaneously?
The ECL can be shown on two separate MFWs, one on the pilot side and the other on the
copilot side
Note: When two instances of the ECL are displayed, interactions with the ECL on
either MFW are synchronized. There is only one ECL displayed two times
If the ECL fails, what are acceptable alternatives?
Electronic flight bag, if installed
iPad or similar device, if approved
AFM, QRH, and FCOM1 publications
Where does the ECL appear when the CHKL QAK key is pressed?
The target window is the first MFW available in the following sequence:
o The onside half of the lower DU
o The inboard half of the DU containing the onside ADI
o The onside half of the center DU
o The offside half of the center DU
o The inboard half of the offside DU
Note: the target DU must be failed or off for the next step in the sequence
If a CAS message is displayed, what will happen when the ECL is opened?
The checklist procedure associated with the CAS message is automatically placed in the active
checklist group of the SUMMARY page
How do you find a non-normal checklist for a condition without a correlating CAS message?
On the ECL in the PROC tab
