Q
Material requirement (2)
A
- customer required del date + del qty requested by customer
- matl requirement info sent to MRP for production/procurement
1
Q
Customization steps for TOR/AC (5)
A
- define req class/type
- setup det rule for TOR
- activate TOR/AC for sched line cat
- define check groups
- define scope of AC
2
Q
Transfer of requirements (3)
A
- individually: matl req info x sched line (allows tracing orders that generated requirements)
- collectively: matl req info sum x day or week
- is a pre-requisite for AC (but AC is not pre-req for TOR)
3
Q
Types of avail check (3)
A
- check against ATP quantities: avail.stock + future rcpts - future issues. With or w/o RLT. On a first come-first served basis
- check against product allocation: setup max matl qty customer can order
- check against planning: based on demand-planning apps like SAP APO-DP
4
Q
Times relevant for sched line date (5)
A
- req del date (if can be met)
- pick/pack time

- w/h proc time: pick/pack, loading
- ship time: transp planning, transit time
- sched line conf date: MAD + PP + L + TP + TR

- sched line conf date calc as in back sched
7

Delivery scenarios (5)
A
- complete delivery: MAD determined to meet full order qty
- partial delivery: multiple MAD can be determined to define different conf dates x sched line item
- one-time delivery: confirms qty avail on req del date and cancels the balance
- part del for customer controlled in cmd/sad/ship or manually in the order header data ship tab
- part del for customer/matl controlled in CMIR or manually in the order item data ship tab
8
Q
AC with RLT (5)
A
- insufficient stock on MAD calc by back sched
- RLT is added to current date
- if resulting date meets MAD calc then fwd sched is not used
- for in-house prod RLT is production time
- for ext procurement RLT is GR time
9
Q
Material avail date calc (3)
A
- MAD: load date - the higher value of pick/pack and transp plan
- load date: req del date - transit time - load time
- if MAD is set in the past during back sched date is defaulted to today
10
Q
Define req class/type (3)
A
- TOR/AC become globally avail within SAP ERP for that req class
- req class O41 is pre-config for SD and TOR/AC come pre-selected
- define req type and assign a req class to the req type
11

Setup det rule for req type (1)
A
-assign req types to item cat / mrp type comb

- same applies to del item cat via availckoff field
13
Q
Define check groups (7)
A
- field totalsales: matl req info gen during order proc is sent to MRP sum by order, day or week
- field totdlvreqs: matl req info gen during del proc is sent to MRP sum by order, day or week
- field block qtrq: prevents issues from simultaneous AC triggered by diff users by block conf qty
- field no check: matl excluded from AC if check group w/ field no check selected is assigned
- field acum: prevents conf of more qty than is avail for ATP as when receipt is delayed after AC conf qty
- field response: if acum is used it controls whether to issue output in case of a shortage
- field relchkplan: relevant for AC against planning
14
Q
Define scope of AC (2)
A
- controlled by comb of check grp + check rule
