Q

What is the Sympathetic NS responsible for?

Q

What is the parasympathetic NS responsible for?

A
Restoration and conservation of body energy. The three decrease:
- decreased heart rate
- decreased airway diameter
- decreased pupil diameter
'rest and digest' are where these actions are promoted
'SLUDD'
- salvation
- lacrimation
- urination
- digestion
- defecation
