Q

What is this?

A

The alternator and it is an electricity-generating device that converts mechanical energy to electrical energy in the form of alternating current. It is used to supply power to your vehicle’s electrical system along with the battery. The alternator also recharges the battery using mechanical energy generated by the motion of the vehicle’s parts.

Q

What is this?

A

The axle and the front and rear axles are cross members supporting a vehicle where the wheel hubs are attached. Axles are also part of your suspension system and are responsible for sending power to the wheels from the engine through the transmission and differential. They link the wheels to the vehicle and support the weight of each.
