Tell me about yourself
I’m French, from Paris, I’ve been in Mexico for about 10 months, my background combines over 6 years experience in international luxury marketing, and an entrepreneurial venture in the wellness industriy.

In my last position at Christofle, I developed and implemented a strong digital strategy, refocused the Media and Communications strategy to reposition the brand in the luxury market in the region, as well as set up guidelines for retail and distributors to harmonize brand image, implemented an influencer campaigns and CRM policy that resulted in increased brand awareness in the region and a 35% increase in customer portfolio.
J’ai notamment développé une stratégie digitale, recentrer/cibler la stratégie de communication et RP pour repositionner la marque sur le marché du luxe dans la région, mis en place des guidelines pour le retail et les distributeurs pour harmoniser l’image de marque et lancer une campagne de CRM et d’influence qui a permis d’augmenter le portefeuille client de 35% en 2 ans.
I like crafting marketing strategies and plans, collaborating with various people, and delivering the brand’s message to the properly targeted audiences.
J’aime créer et mettre en place des plans et stratégies de marketing, collaborer avec des interlocuteurs variés, et rechercher/cibler le bon public auquel transmettre les messages de la marque. Et puis si ça peut être pour promouvoir des produits derrière lesquels il y a une vraie histoire et un savoir-faire je trouve cela d’autant plus intéressant.

Y lo encuentro aún más interesante si lo puedo hacer para productos que tienen una verdadera historia y un savoir-faire.
What are your hobbies?
Well as you can guess, I’m really into yoga, the practice is helping me to keep a healthy lifestyle and be more focus in general. I also love all kinds of artistic expressions, going to see exhibitions, going to the theater, to concerts, and to the movies, I love cooking, and discovering new restaurants. This nourishes my creativity.

Why México and how long do you plan to stay there?
I actually decided to move and settle here after a beautiful trip I took around the country in March 2023 when I fell in love with Mexico, Mexico city and a Mexican.
Decidí mover y instalarme en Mexico despues de haber viajado tras el pais en Marzo 2023 desde Yucatan, Chiapas, la costa de Oaxaca,… Y es en este momento que me enamore con el pais, la ciudad y con un mexicao, por eso decidi regresar con el objetivo de establecerme aqui.
Why go back to corporate?
Today, I would like to return to the corporate world, firstly to regain financial stability but also to be part of a team again. And if it could happen in an inspiring environment, I would naturally find that all the more exciting. And well, I have had both entrepreneurial and corporate experiences, I now know both, have been able to assess the advantages and disadvantages of each.
Hoy me gustaría regresar al mundo corporativo, en primer lugar para recuperar una cierta estabilidad financiera, pero también para ser parte de un equipo nuevamente. Y si pudiera ser en un entorno inspirador, naturalmente lo encontraría aún más emocionante. Habiendo tenido experiencias tanto en el ámbito emprendedor como en el corporativo, ahora conozco ambos y he podido evaluar las ventajas y desventajas de cada uno.
What did you do since you arrived in Mexico? Explain the gap
I came here with the idea that I would also take a break, a time to settle,
J’ai d’abord voulu prendre un temps de pause et donc quelques mois pour m’installer, être sure de mon choix.
Et pendant ce temps j’ai continuer à donner des cours de yoga à distance, j’ai pris des cours d’espagnol.
Puis, j’ai eu quelques opportunités mais qui n’ont pas été concluantes dans un sens ou l’autre, et je n’ai eu mon visa qu’en juillet dernier et cela a bloqué plusieurs opportunités où l’entreprise n’avait pas le temps d’attendre que le visa soit fait. (aussi la visite de mes parents pendant un mois)
Et puis j’ai travaillé pour cette association la Fondation Lazaro…
Opportunités: Distributeurs de montres, design, sport/wellness, hospitality, rencontres dans le luxe mais pas beaucoup de postes
I also have been taking time to figure out what new direction I wanted to go in, and decided on hospitality, which led me to this job opportunity.
And well in the meantime, I kept giving yoga classes via Zoom for a while, I took Spanish lessons to refresh my skills and adapt to Mexican Spanish, in April I also started working as a volunteer for a charity called Fundacion Lazaro which helps reintegrate homeless people to society by creating homes where they live together with young professionals, the idea being that they all benefit from this shared living, learn and grow from it. I helped them with PR & Communications, creating press releases and communication materials, finding press contacts, I created a database of more than 600 contacts mainly media but also including targeted influencers and personalities, I also participated in various events representing the foundation and introducing its work to potential investors and patrons.
How would your coworkers describe you?
I try to be a good teammate by being collaborative and positive. I think my teammates would say that I always like contributing to team projects and that I tend to make them laugh, I have actually been praised in evaluations for my tendency to facilitate relations within a team and elevate the mood.
Trato de ser una buena compañera de equipo siendo colaborativa y positiva. Creo que mis compañeros dirían que siempre me gusta contribuir a los proyectos del equipo y que suelo hacerlos reír. De hecho, he sido elogiada en evaluaciones por mi tendencia a facilitar las relaciones dentro del equipo y elevar el ánimo.
Why did you leave your previous job?
I wanted to give a try to an entrepreneurial experience in a field that I appreciate particularly, I also had done my time in Shanghai. So I launched my yoga business, giving regular classes in different studios, private and online classes, but also corporate classes in companies.
What are you looking for in a new position?
I would like a role that includes marketing strategic planing, industry and new trends monitoring, and communication with various stakeholders, I would like to be part of a team because I enjoy collaborating and think it is one of my strengths. I’d love to work both remote and in-person, as I believe this is how I’d be most efficient.
Me gustaría un rol que incluya la planificación estratégica de marketing, comunicación y negociacion con varios actores, asi como el monitoreo de la industria y nuevas tendencias. Me gustaría formar parte de un equipo porque disfruto colaborar y creo que es una de mis fortalezas. Me encantaría trabajar tanto de manera remota como presencial, ya que creo que es la forma en la que sería más eficiente.
What’s an interesting fact about you that isn’t on your resume?
An interesting fact about me that isn’t on my resume is that I medidate daily. This has allowed me to reduce my stress level and increase my focus, and keeping it up requires me to be disciplined. I believe these skills will be very useful on my day-to-day work but also during stressful times.
Un dato interesante sobre mí que no está en mi currículum es que medito a diario. Esto me ha permitido reducir mi nivel de estrés, aumentar mi concentración, y mantener esta práctica requiere disciplina. Creo que estas habilidades serán muy útiles en mi trabajo diario y en momentos de estrés.
An interesting fact about me that isn’t on my resume is that I love to cook and am a real foodie. I look for new recipes to try weekly, and love discovering new restaurants. I love to host dinner parties, share my recipes and share my lists of favorite restaurants. This nourishes my creativity and curiosity for the world and its different cultures, which I believe is essential to succeed in an hospitality marketing position.
What did you like least and most in your previous job?
- Least : poor work-life balance, personal growth
- Most : the people, the diversity of stakeholders/contactos and cultures I was working with, from my colleagues in different countries of Asia, to the French headoffice/oficina central, the distribuidores/franchisee/franquiciado, to hotels & restaurants managements and sales, media and digital agencies, proveedores que contratemos para eventos, vitrinas… I love discovering different cultures and other ways og thinking.
