by a RED LIGHT at Night
Standpipes may be used for a purpose other than to supply water for firefighting operations, like supplying water or compressed air for construction or demo ops:
provided At Least ONE standpipe riser is maintained at all times for firefighting ops
All Exposed standpipes and sprinkler piping must be painted:

Dedicated standpipe valve handles must be painted:

Combination standpipe valve handles must be painted:

Dedicated sprinkler valve handles must be painted:

A metal sign must be present at the siamese connection for the sprinkler system reading “SPRINKLER SIAMESE CONNECTION” with;
a RED LIGHT over the sign; MUST BE LIT AT NIGHT

Order the use of the outdoor fireplace Discontinued Immediately and SERVE A SUMMONS at this time for Failure to Comply
Exception to the “Open Fires” is:
Outdoor decorative GAS appliance - Natural Gas Fueled, no other fuel sources are allowed
Outdoor decorative gas appliances should be at least:
- 5 feet from any building or structure
- not be beneath or closer than 5 feet to combustible decoractions and overhangs, awnings, sun control devices or similar combustible attachments
- not within 5 feet or exits or exit discharges
Installation requirements for outdoor decorative gas appliances:

Furniture within 5 ft from fire-pit shall have a flame-retardant coating
Portable outdoor barbecues shall be stored or used:
