Reserve PUMPERS when activated, provided with ONE OFFICER/ 4 FF’S. AN EGINE COMPANY ECC (school or company trained ).
5 FF’S , including LCC , AND IF NEEDED, TILLER LCC(SCHOOL /COMPANY TRAINED ) provided for reserve ladder apparatus
When reserved apparatus is full staffed and ready for fire day, OFFICER ON DUTY should notify..

-reserve apparatus will be assigned as if it were a relocator in quarters where needed , it will take standard relocator identify
example: Eng 506 (reserve) is ESTABLISHED IN THE QUaRTERS OF ENG 219, identified as “E-506 acting E-219”
(not where apparatus is stored: bluff)
-termination of active service order of CHIEF OF DEPT. and /or CITYWIDE TOUR CHIFE VIA RADIO, TELEPRINTER, AND /OR VOICE ALARM (not phone)
During time in service , entries shall be made in company journal to reflect all activities, movements, occurrences.
necessary reports shall be the responsibility of OFFICER ON DUTY on the reserve apparatus (LOST PROPERTY )
3RD COPY of riding list posted at HOUSEWATCH DESK OF UNIT whose identify reserve apparatus assumes or filed at emergency command post headquarters
2 remaining copies (apparatus, officer)
Company Commanders shall maintain CD-14 for reserve apparatus assigned to their quarters
BC will schedule utilization of this apparatus ONCE A MONTH at MUD
officer on duty where RESERVE APPARATUS IS STORED shall PREPARE RT-2 (TWO COPIES)..MUST LIST all tools and equipment assigned to reserve apparatus
Member taking apparatus will SIGN and return ONE COPY of RT-2 to the officer who prepared the RT-2…other copy remains with apparatus
Upon return of apparatus , the officer on duty, WHERE APPARATUS IS STORED shall compare RT-2 with tools and equipment being returned.
if time is found MISSING: OFFICER ON DUTY where apparatus is returned
A. OFFICER on duty , where apparatus is being returned, NOTIFY BC (Bc will notify DC)
B. record such in company journal
C. prepare and forward report to CHIEF OF DEPARTMENT, DOCUMENTING THE MISSING ITEMS AND EXPLAINING CIRCUMSTANCES OF LOSS..report forward through chain of command , with full endorsements
OFFICER of reserve apparatus , responsible for that tour :
FORWARD LOST PROPERTY and notification required regarding loss of dept. property
-this officer is responsible for all tools/equipment of apparatus (while not in storage)
RESERVE APPARATUS used AS CFRD-UNITS.
- minimum of 2 CFRD TRAINED FF’S
- CFRD battalion depots NOT to be used for supplying initial CFRD equipment for reserve cfrd units .
- TECH SERVICES WILL PROVIDE EQUIPMENT upon activation .”EMERGENCY CFRD KIT”
- -however , RESERVE CFRD UNITS WILL EXCHANGE OUT OF SERVICE EQUIPMENT WITH CFRD BATTALION DEPOT AS NECESSARY TO KEEP UNIT IN SERVICE …RT-2 shall be used and OFFICER WILL SUPERVISE EXCHANGE and utilize CFRD BATTALION DEPOTS as necessary for medical supplies , officer will supervise procurement
-upon deactivation, tech service will retrieve all cfrd equipment
