6. 1933, Law for Restoration of Civil Service removed 12000 teachers for racial/political reasons

WEINBUERG - only temporarily successful.
PRIDHAM - support form youth was major.

1. “Entailed Farm Law” - farm with one family and can’t sell - no loans.
2. TUs banned - join German Labour Front - incl holidays, car etc.
3. Unemplyoment down - 6m 1932, 0 1939.
4. Jews banned from business, more for Aryan.
5. Trustees of Labor increased wages.

WELCH - first not Jews but unhealthy Germans.

1. Births - mother’s cross for 4+ - Lebensborn SS and Aryan brothels - Abortion banned and birth cntrl centres shut, 5y in prison - improved maternity services and recup homes up - childless couples = more taxes - sterilised undesirables.
2. Employment - 1933, marriage loan 1000RM if left jobs - 1933, removed from cs and medical - under-18 domestic servants for 12 months - 1930, 5% of doctors, 1939, 7%.
3. Education - 1933, cut uni attendance to 10% - curriculum, 2hr needle point and domestic tests before ABITUR.
4. Marriage - mass weddings + Nazi symbols, 122 in 1933 - 200,000 increase 1932-34.

TRAD - repressed and passive.
REV - middle class liked roles.
PAINE - marriage and childbirth = racial obligations.

6. Jehovah’s Witnesses lot jobs, offices shut, banned in Germany in 1933.
