What is an atom?
Atom is the smallest particle of an element that HAVE the chemical properties of that element. It is the building block of an element.
What is an element?
Elements are made of atoms. The atoms in a particular element are the same as each other, and they are different from the atoms of all other elements. It cannot be broken into smaller elements.
Is water (H2O) a compound or single element?

What is a mixture?
Mixtures are formed when two or more substances are added together but not chemically combined.
