Q

What are the stages of Mass Spectroscopy?

A

1 - A sample is injected into the MS via injection, or a solid sample, which gets vaporized
2 - The vaporised sample is ionised/given a charge, and then accelerated in a high voltage electric field
3 - A detector measures the intensity of the beam
