Determine Dynamic in flight performance
When any of the following apply
Within 3000lbs of MAX ALLOWABLE GW
Increase of 1000’ PA
increase of 5degC
Read out
A/C GW
Max allowable GW OGE
Q required to hover at MAXGW IGE/OGE
MTA
Hover power check
Verify if exceeding GW
Verify aircraft GW
Have sufficient power for the mission (IGE/OGE)
VMC takeoff
Lane alignement +/-5deg
Ground track +/-5deg
A/C in trim above 50’
Abort/ETL point for level acceleration/rolling T/O
Fuel Check
Start within 10 mins of leveling off/entering mission profile
Close out 15-30 mins after starting
Compute +/- 50lbs
Slopes
Select a suitable landing areas
Set parking brake
Heading +/- 5 deg
Do not allow +/-3’ drift, 0 once touched down
Note hovering attitude
Be familiar with dynamic rollover
Roll on landing
Select a suitable landing area

Maintain ground track with landing direction
Below 60KGS, +/-5 deg of landing dir
