Students who had started taking antidepressants within the past 4 weeks, as well as those who have been on antidepressants for a longer period of time.

What are the limitations of this study?
Self-reporting of previous diagnosis of depression and medication, and the use of e-mail interview, in that the researcher is not able to observe the participant during the interview and read body language. There may also be an element of self-selection in that the students who responded to the survey had stronger feelings about the course of their depression treatment.
