In small intestine
Larva penetrate small intestine, reaches liver, to heart and penetrates through alveoli then climbs to epiglottis and gets swallowed

A
Proportional to worm burden Asymptomatic Lofflers syndrome SBO in under 10s Wandering worms can cause perforation/peritonitis/biliary obstruction

A
Fertilised eggs in stool
Larvae in sputum
Eosinophilia

How do you treat an ascaris infection?
A
Albendazole or mebendazole
