Evolution driven by the human desire to change or select certain traits.

Ex: Natural selection uses environment as the determining factor to select traits.

Directed breeding in which individuals that exhibit a particular trait are chosen as parents of the next generation; artificial selection is used to produce new breeds or varieties of plants and animals
→ In Artificial Selection, humans are choosing which traits are desirable, and have a goal in mind
