God in Islam
A
There is only one God (tawhid). Name Allah in Islam means the one.

Prophethood (3)
A
- Prophets are chosen from humans by god.
- Through them God reveals special truth by divine revelation.
- Muhammad is the chief of prophets, a perfect example of good moral and spiritual conduct.

Angels (5)
A
- Created by Allah to worship him and serve his will.
- They maintain the Earth.
- Each Muslim has a guardian angel that writes down their good and bad deeds.
- “We do not descend except for the command of our Lord”
-“each person has angels before him and after him watching over him”

Holy books
A
God revealed his laws through prophets so books written by them are holy. However they are not pure but distorted. All scriptures are cultivated and perfected in the Quran, the word of God. “This is the scripture of which there can be no doubt”

Afterlife in Islam (5)

- Death is not the end.
- On Judgement day the universe will end and the dead will be resurrected.
- Their deeds will be judged
- the good will go to paradise while the evil go to hell.
- “He gives life and causes death”

Divine decree (the will of Allah) controls the eventual outcome of all things. Within divine decree man is given free will
