Shall suffer no loss of benefits, the department will supplement military ay to ensure their pay is equal to their regular rate of pay.

Leave for this purpose SHALL NOT be controlled by other policies, procedures, or rules that affect this leave.
Who must approve leave without pay for an excess of 160 work hours?
Bureau commander.
Who must approve leave without pay for an excess 90 calendar days?
Division head and Sheriff or Sheiff’s desginee.
How much leave can be granted to maternity/paternity leave?
Employees shall be entitled to 6 months of leave within 12 months following birth.
How does an employee reimburse the catastrophic leave bank?
Employee reimburses the bank with 2 hours of vacation per pay period.
