Define “Primary Aromas” and give a few examples of such.
A
Primary aromas are determined by the grape variety. Some examples are fruits and herbs

Define “Secondary Aromas” and give a few examples of such.
A
Secondary aromas are derived from the winemaking process. For example, fermenting/resting the wine in new oak barrels can introduce Vanilla as an aroma. Aging a white wine in oak barrels can give a nutty aroma.

Define “Tertiary Aromas” and give a few examples of such.
A
Tertiary aromas come from extended aging in barrels or in bottle.
Aging a white whine can introduce Honey as an aroma.
Aging Red wine in oak barrels can introduce aromas such as mocha/chocolate and coffee.
