Q

What are the tolerances for the mag check (and vacuum, oil, and annunciators, carb heat)?

A

No more than 175 drop, no more than 50 difference between R/L

Vacuum should be 5.0+/-.1Hg at 2000 RPM

Check oil temp and pressure (pressure must be within limits, temp may take a while to normalize)

Check annunciator panel lights with push to test button

Check carb heat but limit as air is unfiltered
