Q

what are the steps involved in the Arachidonic Acid Cascade ?

A
  1. Phospholipase A2 (enzyme) produces arachidonic acid (AA) from fatty acids
  2. COX enzyme converts AA into intermediates
  3. Other enzymes convert intermediates into Protstanoids-prostoglandins or thromboxanes
