Consider the glass doors that one encounters at major department stores, banks etc.
Generally, users pause as they try to decide whether to push or pull. Many of these doors
have signs, as well as handles, at strategic points. Considering the Human Factors, why do
users have problems? How can these problems be fixed? What solutions currently exist and
how well do they work?
Consider the LCD panel on a drinks machine. What information should be displayed (and in
what sequence) in order to guarantee a smooth user experience when purchasing a drink?
Include those instances when things go wrong.
Consider a user withdrawing $100.00 from an ATM. Show what input-output translations
occur during the process.
Consider the implementation of a computer program. Using task analysis, perform the
following.
