Abdominal pain - starts in umbilical region - localises to RIF Nausea Fever

A
RIF pain on palpation of LIF

RIF pain with extension of right hip
Sign of appendicitis - suggests inflammed appendix in retrocaecal position

Urinanalysis - exclude urinary/gyaneological cause
Bloods - inflammatory markers

A
Appendicectomy - usually laparoscopic
