A
Fetal vessels in the membrane crosses the internal and lie in front of the presenting part
Tear occurs during ARM
Mx - LSCS

Causes of abruptio placenta
A
Medical - preeclampsia, HTN, chorioamniotis (2 to PPROM)
Thrombophilias - congenital, acquired (APLA)
Trauma - blunt trauma, amniocentesis, ECV, uterine decompression (hydramnios & delivery of 1st twin)
Others - past history, smoking
