what are some complications the arterial line?

aortic insufficiency from failure of the valve to close properly
bounding pulse
from cardiogenic shock or hypovolemia

abnormal decreased in systolic during inspiration

administer meds/fluids

where is the central line placed?
inserted in the r jugular or subclavian vein and is advanced into the SVC
what is a PICC line?
