prediction
a prediction is a forecast made by those who calculate the parameters of subject involved after evaluating the odds they can predict the future. The weather forecast is a good example.
adage
a short pointed memorable saying based on fats, and consideration a vent able truth by the majority of people. Famous adages become popular due to their usage over a long period of time. In fact, an adage expresses a general fact or truth.
pedantic
comes from a french word, pedant, means “to teach or to act as pedagogue. “ a pedagogue is someone who is concerned with perception, formalism, accuracy, minute details in order to make an accuracy, mini-unite details in order to make an arrogant and ostainous show of learning.
flippant
lacking respect or seriousness. this is often associated with impatient of youth.
evocate
The use of language that “suggests” meanings other than the denotative. language that connects with emotions and feelings not associated with the actual meaning of words.
syntacial inversion
inversion also called anastrophe , in literacy style and rhetoric, the syntacic reversal of the normal order of the words and phrases in a sentence, as, on english, the placing of an adjective after the noun it modifies (“the form divine”), a verb before its subject (“came the down”).
Apposition
is a grammatical construction in which two elements, normally noun phrases, are placed side by side, which one element serving to identify the other in different way. the two elements are said to be in apposition.
didactic
the word didactic is frequently used for those literacy text which are over loaded with informative or realistic matter and are marked by the omission of grateful and pleasing details. didactic, therefore, become a derogatory term referring to the forms of literature that are referring to the forms of literature that are ostentatiously dull and erudite. however,some literacy text are entering as well as didactic.
conceit
conceit is a figure of speech in which two vastly, different objects are liked together with the help of similes or metaphors. conceit can have a surprising or shocking effect on the reader because they are novel comparison unlike the conventional comparison made in similes and metaphors.
periodic sentence
when the main clause or predicate is at the end of the sentence. by putting reasons at the beginning before the final point is a made.
