diverted from a greek word meanning “simple’’ a figure of speech using a double negative or in other words a positive statement is expressed by negating it’s opposite expressions. “not too bad”

the idea of a “perfect society” deal conditions achieved within the martial world as opposed of the idealism of afterlife in Christianity.

the word sonnet is diverted from italian word. “sonneto” had 14 lines and is written in iambic pentameter. each ine has 10 syllables.
round character
novel, play or story is a complex personality.like people, he/she has depth inn is feelings and passions. for instance, in the movie “shrek”
situatoal Irony
occurs when incongruity appeals between expectations of something to happen, and what actually happens instead. different from what audience may expect.
static character
a character that doesn’t go inner changes/ little change.
vernacular
daily used language in writing and speaking. it is different from written works, as they are normally as they follow the formal variety of language.

vernacular is the use of ordinary, everyday and plain language in speaking or writhing.
understatement:
a figure of speech employed by writers or speakers to intentionally make a situation seem less important than it really is
eulogy
term originated from a greek word “eulogia” . which means to praise somebody or something.used in laudatory expression in a speech; or written tribute to a person deceased recently.
hubris
extreme pride or arrogance shown in a character that ultimately brings about his downfall. In ap language hubris can be found in the authors attitude.
Anti-Hero
used by writers to promote character in a play book that has characteristics opposite to that of a conventional hero. anti hero is typical clumsy, unsolicited, and unskilled.
