Oral Candidiasis (thrush) Systemic fungal infections eg. Cryptococcal meningitis
- Gradual general systemic toxicity
- Nephrotoxicity
- Hypokalaemia
- Abnormal LFTs
- Fever, chills, vomiting

Nystatin
A
Oral candidiasis
Used topically-swirled around in mouth. Too toxic for systemic use.
- Oral irritation
- Rash
- Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea (upon slight ingestion)
- Fatal if swallowed

Sub Class: Azoles
A
Tinea
Cryptococcal meningitis
Candidiasis
- Nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhoea
- Headache
- Rash
- Rare: hepatitis, Stevens Johnson syndrome
