MOA: Macrolide antibiotic, binds 50S ribosomal subunit of bacteria & suppresses proton synthesis
Uses: Upper & lower respiratory tract infections, including sinusitis, community acquired pneumonia, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis & some atypical organisms (chlamydia, legionella & mycoplasma)

MOA: Quinolone antibiotic, interferes w/ DNA gyrase (enzyme necessary for synthesis of bacterial DNA)
Uses: Urinary tract infections, upper respiratory tract infections (otitis, sinusitis), skin & soft tissue infections (community acquired MRSA)
