A

anti slavery did want an end to the international slave trade and slavery in the US, but that didn’t mean racial equality or rights.
wheres abolitionists did want an immediate end to slavery and rights given to black Americans.

A

they wanted to gradually free the slaves, but wanted to move them back to Africa. they wanted a gradual and voluntary end to slavery.
the plan was to move the slaves to Liberia
