different types of SSTIs
A
- uncomplicated SSTI (Staph or Strep) - easily treated with cephalosporins, erythromycin, amoxicillin/clavulanate
- Complicated SSTI: unrresponsive, have systemic toxicity, need more aggresive treatment and evaluation for MRSA
- ## CA-MRSA (not a SSTI but infectious condition)
