Culture changes constantly throughout the time. It varies on the societal structure and the capacities of its
members to respond.
Dynamic, Flexible and Adaptive
Culture through its elements is enjoyed by group of people who lived together. It also allows its members to predict the behavior of other members but it has no assurance that they will think and act similarly.
Shared and Contested
Culture is not biological; we do not inherit or born out of
it, but learned as we interact with society. Children learn
culture from adults.
Learned and Transmitted through
Socialization or Enculturation
process of learning and internalizing
rules and patterns of society;
Socialization
is the process of learning and adopting ways and manners of
culture.
Enculturation
Culture creates patterned behavior and social interactions that can be transmitted through socialization and enculturation.
Patterned Social Interactions
Some culture are interconnected and interlinked.
Integrated and At times Unstable
