ocular discomfort and pain
pupil maybe small and irregular - due to sphincter muscle contraction
photophobia
blurred
red eye
lacrimation
ciliary flush
hypopyon
visual acuity initially normal to impaired

A
ankylosing spondylitis
reactive arthritis
ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease
Behcet’s disease
sarcoidosis: bilateral disease may be seen

Mx
A
Urgent opthal r/w
cyclopeigics - dilated the pupil e.g. atropine, cyclopentolate
steroid eye drops
