Q

What makes up the floor of the Submandible Triangle?

A
  1. Mylohyoid: Originates in the mylohyoid line of the mandible. Inserts on midline raphe from chin to hyoid bone and the body of the hyoid bone. (V3)
  2. Hyloglossus: Originates in the greater horn of the hyoid bone. Inserts on the lateral surface of the tongue (CN XII)
  3. Middle pharyngeal constrictor: Originates in the greater horn of hyoid and stylohyoid ligament and inserts into muscle of other side at midline raphe.
