Adducts and flexes hip joint; assists with medial rotation of hip joint
Origin of Sartorius
Anterior Superior Illiac Spine(ASIS) and superior part of notch inferior to it
Insertion of Satorius
Superior part of medial surface of tibia
Innervation of Sartorius
Femoral Nerve (L2, L3)
Action of Satorius
Flexes, abducts, and laterally rotates hip joint; flexes knee joint
Origin of Psoas Major
Sides of T12-S5 and discs between them, transverse processes of all lumbar vertebrae
Insertion of Psoas Major and Illacus
Lesser trochanter of femur
Orgin of Illacus
Illiac crest, Illac fossa, ala of sacrum, and anterior sacro-illiac ligaments
