O: medial epicondyle of humerus I: distal half of flexor retinaculum & palmar aponeurosis N: median nerve (C7,8) A: ulnar artery F: flexes wrist
Flexor Capri ulnaris
O: medial epicondyle of humerus I: pisiform, hook of hamate, & 5th metacarpal N: ulnar nerve (C7,8) A: ulnar artery F: wrist flexion and adduction
Flexor digitorum superficialis
O: medial epicondyle of humerus & coronoid process of ulna/superior anterior border of radius
I: bodies of middle phalanges 2-5
N: median nerve (C7,8, T1)
A: ulnar artery
F: flexes middle phalanges at proximal interphalangeal joints
Flexor digitorum profundus
O: proximal medial and anterior surface of ulna/interosseous membrane
I: base of distal phalanx 2-5
N: medial: ulnar n (C8,T1), lateral: anterior interosseous of median n (C8,T1)
A: ulnar & anterior interosseous artery
F: flexes distal phalanges, assists hand flexion
Flexor pollicis longus
O: anterior surface of radius/adjacent interosseous membrane
I: base of distal phalanx of thumb
N: anterior interosseous of median n (C8,T1)
A: anterior interosseous artery
F: flexes thumb
Pronator quadratus
O: distal anterior surface of ulna I: distal anterior surface of radius N: anterior interosseous of median n (C8,T1) A: anterior interosseous a F: pronates forearm
