Birth defect of the abdominal wall
Omphalocele
a birth defect where a hole in the abdominal wall beside the belly button allows the baby’s intestines to extend outside of the baby’s body

Fibrous bands of amniotic sac gets tangled around developing fetus
Amniotic band syndrome
a congenital growth disorder (Large)
Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome
a rare birth defect in which the bladder develops outside the fetus
Bladder Exstrophy
a condition where some internal organs that are normally in the lower abdomen are exposed externally
Cloacal Exstrophy
a collection of five congenital midline birth anomalies that present a distinctive challenge for providers and surgeons. Those five defects are of the heart, pericardium, diaphragm, sternum, and abdominal wall

a rare congenital condition in which some or all of a baby’s heart doesn’t have the typical coverage of the breastbone.
Ectopia Cordis
a rare congenital defect of the anterior chest wall and is the result of a failed midline fusion of the sternum
Cleft Sternum
ora condition characterized by multiple, severe congenital abnormalities in a fetus. It typically results in openings in the anterior body wall (chest and belly) and defects of the limbs (arms and legs)
