A

muscarinic antagonist, competitive. natural, CNS long duration. prevents IP3 release. salivary, bronchial, sweat glands most sensitive. parietal cells least sensitive. rapid 2hr and slow 13 hr phases, rapid decline in all but eye. varied dose response: slight bradycardia to tachycardia to severe cardiac + CNS systems. inhibit excessive salivation + sweating, treat organophosphate poisoning
